Roadie / OpsForge Consulting LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Roadie platform at roadiemgmt.com and related services.

By using Roadie, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Roadie platform
  • Generate AI-powered booking proposals and pitch messages on your behalf
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, booking notifications)
  • Send SMS messages via Twilio when you use the communications features
  • Notify the platform owner of new account registrations for operational purposes
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Respond to your support requests and communications

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting providers, email delivery services (SMTP), SMS providers (Twilio), and payment processors (Stripe). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Search Data Providers: The Gig Finder feature uses SerpAPI to search for public booking opportunities. No personal data is shared with SerpAPI.
  • Public Profile: Your public booking page (/book/your-slug) and EPK are visible to anyone with the link. You control what information appears on these pages.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.

Booking records and financial data may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext
  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Database access is restricted to authorized server processes only
  • Session tokens are signed with a secret key and expire automatically

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

Roadie uses session cookies to maintain your login state. These are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. This data is not linked to individual users.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
